Terms & Conditions
Thank you for joining us!
We are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where students can enjoy the journey of learning dance.
By registering for classes, workshops, or programs, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as our Dance Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which form part of your registration agreement.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Short Workshops & Beginner Courses (8 weeks or less)
This policy applies to workshops, short series, and beginner courses lasting up to 8 weeks.
- Receive a full refund if you withdraw at least 48 hours before the workshop or course begins.
- Receive a 50% refund if you withdraw within 48 hours of the start time.
- Once the workshop or course has begun, refunds are no longer available.
- Missed classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Make-up classes (when available for your level) are offered free of charge within the timeframe of your course. See “Missed Classes & Make-Up Classes” below.
Regular Courses (more than 8 weeks)
- Receive a full refund if you withdraw at least 5 days before the course begins.
- If you withdraw fewer than 5 days before the course starts, your refund will be subject to a $40 cancellation/administration fee.
- If you withdraw after the course has started, we will refund the unused portion of your tuition, less: the cost of classes already completed; and a $40 administration fee.
- Refunds are not available after the second class of the course.
Please note: Refunds, when applicable, are issued according to the guidelines below. Credit card processing fees charged at the time of registration cannot be recovered and are therefore non-refundable.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you need to withdraw due to a serious illness, injury, or other exceptional circumstances beyond your control, please get in touch with us.
Whenever possible, we will work with you to find a fair solution, which may include a credit toward a future program, a transfer, or a partial refund. Supporting documentation may be requested.
Attendance & Absences
Regular attendance is the best way to enjoy your classes and make steady progress, especially in beginner and intermediate ballet and flamenco. Consistent attendance is particularly important for courses that include choreography, including Flamenco Levels 3 and above.
If you know you will be missing a class, we appreciate you letting your teacher know in advance by email, text message, WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, or another convenient method.
Missed & Make-Up Classes
We understand that life happens! If you need to miss a class, please check with your teacher or Maria to find the best make-up option for you.
Whenever possible, we will do our best to help you make up your class during the current session, subject to space availability and the suitability of another class.
Please note:
- Make-up classes are offered free of charge.
- Make-up classes have no cash value and cannot be carried forward to future sessions.
- Missed classes cannot be refunded or prorated after registration.
- If you register after a course has already started, your tuition may be prorated before registration. Please see our Discounts & Offers page for details.
Drop-In Classes
If you need to cancel a drop-in class, please do so at least
6 hours before the class begins to receive a refund or credit.
Cancellations made less than 6 hours before class, as well as no-shows, cannot be refunded or credited.
Please note that simply missing a class does not count as notice of cancellation.
Class Cancellations
Occasionally, classes may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. When this happens, we will always do our best to provide notice as soon as possible and offer a fair solution.
Low Registration
We may need to cancel a class or course if there are insufficient registrations. If this happens, students will receive a full refund.
Occasionally, a substitute instructor may teach a class when needed.
Weather Cancellations

Your safety comes first. If severe weather creates unsafe travel conditions, classes may be cancelled.
We will make every effort to notify students by email at least five hours before class whenever possible.
Our winter schedule includes an extra week to help accommodate occasional weather cancellations. If more than three classes are cancelled due to weather during a term of ten weeks or longer, we will either:
- extend the session; offer a make-up class; or provide a credit toward a future program.
Refunds are not issued for weather-related cancellations.
Teacher Absence or Studio Closure
If a class cannot take place because of a teacher absence or studio closure, we will do our best to keep your learning on track by:
arranging a qualified substitute instructor; scheduling a make-up class; rescheduling the class; or moving the class online when appropriate. If none of these options are possible, a refund or account credit will be provided for the affected class or unused tuition.
Late Registration
Found us after a course has already started?
You are welcome to attend a complimentary trial class. If you decide to join the course, your tuition will be prorated so you only pay for the remaining classes in the session.
Financial Assistance & Special Offers
We believe dance should be accessible whenever possible. Please visit our
Discounts & Offers page to learn about available discounts, promotions, and financial assistance options.
