CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to cancel classes with insufficient registration. In this event, fees for cancelled classes will be full refunded. We also reserve the right to substitute teachers as necessary.
Weather Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel classes when inclement weather creates unsafe road conditions. Decisions will be based on weather warnings and the closure of public institutions. We make every effort to announce cancellations at least five hours before class, and students will be notified via email.
Occasional weather disruptions are factored into the overall scheduling of the winter term, with an extra week built into the schedule to accommodate potential cancellations. If more than three classes are canceled due to weather within a 10 or longer term, the term will be extended for an additional week, or students will receive a credit toward a future class or a make-up class option. No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.
Teacher Absence or Studio Closure Cancellations
If a class or course is canceled due to a studio closure, the class will be postponed, rescheduled, or transitioned online(if suitable). If a student is unable to attend the rescheduled class(es) or online classes are not an option, any unused tuition fees for classes beyond the closure date will be fully refunded as a credit on the account or returned to the original payment method.
If a class is canceled due to teacher absence, one of the following will apply:
-
A qualified substitute will teach the class.
-
A make-up class will be scheduled.
-
If neither a substitute nor a make-up class is possible, a refund of the class fee will be granted.
