Mark your calendars! It’s time to ignite your passion for rhythm, movement, and dance was we return once again to the Paul O’Regan Hall at the Halifax Central Library.
Presented by Atlantic Flamenco and Flamenco and Ballet Dance School Maria Osende in partnership with the dazzling Halifax Central Library , our World Flamenco Day Celebration promises an unforgettable afternoon filled with mesmerizing performances, hands-on learning, infectious dancing, resounding clapping, and soul-stirring jam sessions, all perfect for the entire family.
At our past events, we’ve taken you on a captivating journey through the history and evolution of flamenco, from its humble beginnings to its status as a globally cherished art form. We’ve showcased the incredible talents of our local flamenco artists, from seasoned professionals to emerging stars, and delighted in the rhythmic prowess of the students from the Flamenco and Ballet Dance School Maria Osende right here in Halifax.
